HARBOUR CRUISE WEDDINGS NORTHERN BEACHES VENUES
OUTDOOR PARKS & RESERVES Tide Times - Excellent to use as a guide for Beach Weddings Sydney City There are so many wonderful outdoor venues around the city. The Rocks, Darling Harbour and the city all offer plenty of ceremony venues for you to choose from. Please ask me for information of some popular spots. Ku-ring-gai Council Ku-ring-gai offers a number of spectacular parks and gardens which can be booked weddings. Please ask me for information on some popular spots. Hours of operation are 8am - 6pm (Monday - Saturday) and 9am - 6pm (Sunday). Fees and charges are applicable and are based on the group size. Temporary structures such as marquees are allowed but must be weighted and not pegged. Alcohol can be consumed in the parks and the use of non-glass items is encouraged. All of Council's amenities buildings are open daily. Contact the Ku-ring-gai Council on PH: (02) 9424 0000 for further information. Manly Council Bookings are only required if 30+ Guests are attending the wedding or you would like a marquee to be erected. Fees apply and the rate depends upon the size of the wedding and whether or not the park is hired exclusively or shared with other users. Mosman Area Beaches, parks and reserves come under two areas of control being The Mosman Council and the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS). I am happy to provide you with information on some poplular spots. * Parks controlled by Sydney Harbour National Parks you must get permission if inviting 20+ Guests. PH: (02) 9977 6732. * For Mosman Council's parks, bookings are preferred and essential if you have more than 50 people. There is a flat rate fee and Council recommends you book a two hour time period. Phone (02) 9978 4000. North Sydney Council North Sydney has a number of beautiful parks & reserves, many on the waterfront and with city views. Please ask me for further information on some popular spots. You cannot hold a reception or erect a marquee in any of North Sydney Council's parks & reserves. Weddings are charged at a per person fee for each person for gatherings of over 20+ Guests. Confetti & rice are not allowed, but alternatives such as rose petals or bubbles are permitted. There is an insurance fee if you want to have cocktails or serve canapés and you must hire the use of a bin. You cannot have exclusive use of a park in North Sydney and must share it with other park users. For bookings contact the North Sydney Council on PH: (02) 9936-8100. Pittwater Council  The Pittwater Council has many beaches and reserves available for hire. To book for your wedding ceremony contact the Pittwater Council's Reserves & Recreation Branch on PH: (02) 9970-7222. An application will be posted to you advising you of the fees and conditions of your booking. I am happy to advise you on many of the popular ceremony spots. Ryde Council The area around Ryde has parkland areas which include natural bushland and lovely river views. Please ask me to provide you more information on some popular spots. There is no charge to hold your ceremony in a Ryde Council park if you are a resident of the area, however there is a refundable cleaning fee and an insurance fee. For couples living outside the area, there is a booking fee, plus the insurance and cleaning fees. For photographs only, there is no charge.
